Dog Scouts of America

Dog Scouts of America turned out to be very helpful and fun. There are troupes all over the country, and they promote positive rather than negative approaches to training dogs. It is much more humane than some other methods. Dogs earn badges which they wear on their uniforms, just like Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of the human variety. More about this later. Lucky learned basic obedience plus lots of other things, like agility and rally-O and tracking and much more. He didn't excel at these, but he and I had a lot of fun.
